Accreditation is an external, independent review of a health care delivery organization against nationally-accepted standards and its own policies, procedures, processes and outcomes. Many states are requiring that Medicaid providers are accredited by a national accrediting body. This is a new process for family-run organizations. This two part webinar will help family-run organizations become familiar with accreditation organizations, understand the accreditation process, and obtain information about costs. Part One (9/11/14) will focus on accreditation with the Council on Accreditation (COA) and Part Two (10/3/14) will focus on accreditation with the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities.
